Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. A casual bar atmosphere with a solid lineup of comfort food. The Peppy Boy pizza was the highlight - a thin crust pie with crispy pepperoni and a drizzle of honey that added a great sweet-savory balance. The cheese curds and Parmesan tots were also quite lovely. One note is that the bill included an automatic surcharge, though they were happy to remove it when asked.

I’m not a big tavern style pizza person but this may be my favorite one that could convert me. The quality of cheese on everything was fantastic! Loved their Giardiniera cheese curds. The frozen cocktails like Negroni was terrific especially on these hot days. Service with a smile and quick. Also they share the space with Parsons and same owners. @chicagopescetarian

I am seldom impressed by new places especially when it comes to pizza. For example all those new pizza joints in Fulton Market all hype not worth it. BUT this pizza is worth it. Reasonably priced with what is the normal for Chicago tavern style. Crust was right and crispy and thin. I ordered my usual sausage and giard. If you don’t like spicy not for you it is hot giard. Heavy on the toppings clearly. My one gripe is it might’ve been a little saltier than I expected and maybe that contributed to why it seemed a little dry. I don’t want a greasy pizza but expected a bit more juice from the sausage but then again the sausage is very thin so not much juice to begin with. Love the flavor though it’s there and I will return again, hope it’ll be even better.

Glad to have this in Lincoln park. The atmosphere was great and the server was nice. The pizza was inedible. Tavern style pizza is supposed to be crispy around the outside… But there’s a difference between crispy and completely burnt. After coming out Twice… burnt both times….they offered to remake the pizza…. But who has time for that? Photos of the first and second attempt are attached.

Tator tots 10/10! Extra crispy with a great dipping sauce. The salad and pizza were not 10/10. Extremely salty pizza and service was not great on a slow Monday night. I can’t imagine what it’s like when it’s actually busy here if it ever does get busy.
